We endeavour to cater for all at Rock Cottage. We know that feeling comfortable in your holiday home is so important and part of that might be knowing that you have chosen somewhere which caters for vegans.
Rock Cottage is a beautiful and rather ancient cottage and it has been respectfully renovated using the highest quality materials. The property does not contain any furnishings which use animal derived products so no wool or leather, if your eagle eyes spot the desk chair in the dining room – it’s imitation leather!
Cornwall has long been renowned for it’s diverse choice of restaurants and I’m pleased to report the number of venues catering to vegans is on the up! You will be able to enjoy eating out at lots of artisan eateries whilst on holiday at Rock Cottage. The Ring O’Bells just across the road has a specific vegan menu (and also a gluten-free menu) – just ask. There is a copy of the menu in the cottage too.
How Rock Cottage is vegan and vegetarian friendly
- “down-like” synthetic luxury pillows and duvets – no feathers or wool
- hard floors or synthetic carpet – no wool
- vegan friendly hand soap in both the bathroom and kitchen
- No beeswax cleaning products are used
- Fairtrade coffee and local Cornish Tea (100% plastic free)
- Vegan friendly “welcome tray” with plant based milk etc.
- Lots of vegan friendly restaurants in the locality
We are not an exclusively vegan accommodation provider but we are trying to make Rock Cottage welcoming to all – we are even dog friendly!
