Exciting – time to pack for your perfect Cornish getaway!
It is always helpful when you know what is provided so below is a list of equipment and a reminder of “things to bring”
You need to bring:
- Beach towels and beach equipment (we provide all towels & linen for the Cottage)
- For the kitchen – cooking oils, tin foil & cling film, food & drink
- If you want to use the BBQ, you will need to bring your own coal & firelighters
- Dog food, dog towels, bowls, bed/crate, poo bags and clean throws to cover furniture
We aim to offer a really well equipped house, so if there is anything you feel might be missing then please let us know.

- salt and pepper grinders (these are refilled and sanitised between guests)
We provide a dishcloth, scourer sponge, teatowels, fairy liquid and a selection of dishwasher tablets with every booking
Our Welcome Basket includes an initial supply of local tea and coffee and sugar & some locally sourced treats

Outside
- to the left hand side of the front of the cottage you will find a sort of “layby” – you can park your car here. Additional parking can be found further into the village. Please respect our neighbours by parking considerately.

- left-hand outhouse: BBQ (bring your own coals), clothes airer, buckets & spades, doggy shower. Please note the right-hand outhouse is not available to guests.

- bike shed (please bring your own padlock, our insurance does not cover your items whilst staying at Rock Cottage. Please ensure you have adequate insurance to cover your bikes and items whilst away from home)
Dogs
- We provide a doggy shower for outdoor use (please do not bathe dogs indoors)
- Please bring your own dog bed/crate, dog food, dog bowls, leads & poo bags
- You need to dispose of dog waste in a public dog waste bin (you cannot use our outdoor bin as our waste collection service does not collect dog waste). The nearest bin is less than a 2 minute walk just next to the Ring O’Bells pub by the bus stop
